Walnut Elementary school will be recognizing Red Ribbon Week from October 28th through November 1st!

Monday, 10/28-"Wake Up Drug Free!"
  • McGruff Assembly for K-2
  • Students may wear pajamas to school
  • Students sign pledge to make healthy choices
  • Photo Frame & Props placed outside near front office to take your family photos
Tuesday, 10/29-"Rock You Red!"
  • Students may wear red to school. Lots and lots of red!
Wednesday, 10/30-"Our School Rocks!"
  • Music will be played at lunch. 
Thursday, 10/31-"Say Boo to Drugs!"
  • Students and staff may wear costumes. Please remember to follow school dress code. No weapons, masks or painted faces. Appropriate footwear is required.
Friday, 11/1-"Hugs, Not Drugs!"
  • Students may bring a stuffed animal to school. Please make sure the animal is carrying size and not musical. Students are responsible for keeping their animals safe.
**Please follow our schoowide dress code for all dressup days. No slippers, sandals, spaghetti straps, masks, etc.
